In 1908-1909 years attending art school Georg Tappert in Worpswede inherent Tappert lyricism influenced at first by the work of Wilhelm Morgner. In 1909, the same year the artist returned to Soest. In 1911 he moved to Berlin, participates in the art group the Bridge (it. die Brücke), with which participates in Berlin exhibition "New secession". In 1912 participated in the exhibition of artists "Sonderbund" in Cologne, where he met with the work group "the Blue rider", which had a great impact on the future of the wizard. 1913 painting by V. Morgner increasingly approaching abstractionism. So, his "Astral song" (1913) very concise, very sparingly image of mountain scenery.
