On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of Raphael, state museums in Berlin devote two special exhibitions to the most important artist of the Italian Renaissance.
"Raphael in Berlin. Masterpieces of the Engraving Office"- these rarely shown works demonstrate Raphael's outstanding creativity.
Rafael Santi - Italian painter, graphic artist and architect. One of the brightest representatives of the art of the High Renaissance, or Roman classicism of the early 16th century. During his short life, he became one of the most famous and wealthy artists of Italy.
