View from the bridge in the Brest Fortress

This landscape depicts the park inside the Brest Fortress, where I visited on June 21, 2014, during a trip on the Memorial Train. This trip really excited me. Visiting Khatyn, the Brest Fortress Museum, being present at the reconstruction of events memorable for the beginning of the Great Patriotic War remained a poignant and sorrowful memory of this trip. We are able to enjoy the beauty of the world around us, breathe in the fresh air after the rain, we can live and love because our great-grandfathers laid down their lives in the fight against fascism. For me, no one is forgotten and nothing is forgotten.
