Nikolayevich Balabanov

People's artist of Russia (1995); born 9 APR 1939 in Moscow; he graduated from art-graphic faculty of the Moscow pedagogical Institute in 1963, Professor; 1969-1989 — the chief artist of the Central television of the USSR; Academy of natural Sciences and Academy of Slavic culture; the Vice-President of the New Imperial Academy of arts since 1993; co-chair of the Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, founder and lead creative of club "Temple of your soul"; author of the painting "the Flight of the Trinity," "Christ the Savior", "Prayer for the Romanovs", "Under the blessed Cover of", etc.; held solo exhibitions in new York and San Francisco (1989, 1993); member of the Union of artists of the USSR, the author of the symbolism and jury member international film festival of Slavic and Orthodox peoples "Golden knight", a member of the Board of Marshal Zhukov, a member of the editorial boards of the people's Orthodox newspaper "Rus ' Derzhavnaya", magazine "Rossiyane", "Fatherland and faith", etc.
