He studied at the Mosk. VKhUTEMAS (1918-25), a disciple of S. Malyutina. He lived in Moscow. Since 1925 member of the EAST. From 1923 he worked as a cinema artist. From 1940 he taught. The author of beautiful songs (including "Time", 1925), easel graphics, posters, vol. Fig. etc.

He studied at VKhUTEMAS in 1918-1925. I. I. Mashkov, V. N. Yakovlev. In the 1920s he designed agitation trains, exhibitions, 1923-35 he worked as a cinema artist. In 1925 he took an active part in exhibitions, including OST. he was in the 1930-ies in the Department of cartoon and advertising production films cinematic stock company "Mezhrabpomfilm".
