Ivanovich Endogurov

Born in St. Petersburg in 1864. Not having received formal art education, the artist in 1889 he participated in exhibitions of the "Society of Russian watercolors" (he was a member of the society).

During its short life (the artist died 22 November 1894) Endogurov performed the following watercolors: "the Shore of the stream" (1974, RM), "Italy", "Landscape", "Trickle" (CA. 1889), "Workshop of I. S." (CA. 1889), "the Sea in Norway" (1890, TG), "a Study from nature" (RM), "Gulf of Palermo" (state Tretyakov gallery), "Morning on Onega lake" (1890), "Last leaves" (1890), "Italian landscape", "Pargolovo lake", "Mountain view", "Harbour to Ajaccio" (1891), "the Pond, the estate of count Plater" (CA. 1893), "Swan" (1893), "Winter in Corsica" (1894), "the River Palian near nice", etc.

In 1899, the Academy established a prize named after brothers I. and S. I. Endogurova "for the painting, worthy of the landscape".
