Sister A. K. A Toad. He studied at the Academy of Arts (1896 and 1906) V. V. Matai. Received in 1903, the title of the artist's etching "William of Nassau" (from the portrait by A. van Dyck). Lived in Bakhchisarai (1906 – 1923), then in Leningrad.

He painted landscapes of the Crimea, predominantly of Bakhchisarai.

Participant of exhibitions since 1901 (AH, the "Society of Russian watercolors", the Society's behalf Arkhip Kuindzhi and others).

In 1914 and 1915 were performed sketches of episodes of the first world war for the magazine "Lukomorye". He taught at the art school in Bakhchisaray (1906 – 1923).

In 1965, in Bakhchisarai was an exhibition of works by Alphonse and Nina Toad, arranged Nagaevsky E. V.
