Maksimovich Maksimov

In 20 years became volnoprihodyaschim student of the Imperial Academy of arts. Among the teachers who gave advice to the novice painter, and was the now famous K. P. Bryullov (contact with the great Maestro useful, perhaps, to a young artist of any talent).

In the Academy A. Maximov received in 1835 a small silver medal. In 1836 he was awarded the title of a free artist. And although over the years the skill of the painter grew, the top official recognition became in 1847 the title of "appointed" in academics.
