In 1843 the Stroganov school was transformed into a Second school of technical drawing (2-second Moscow drawing school — future famous Stroganovka). That it was studying Fedor Ivanovich Yasnovsky, presented in 1854 to the rank of class artist of landscape painting. Subsequent fruitful work makes the artist's name known. He is actively engaged in watercolor, but her impressive results. In 1858, F. I. Yasnovsky receives from the Academy the title of "appointed" in academics. In 1860 he was awarded the title of academician watercolor ornamental painting.

Lived and worked F. I. Yasnovsky in Moscow. For many years he taught in his native Stroganov school.
