1970 — began teaching activity at the Kiev state art Institute
1980-1987 Vice — rector of the Kiev state art Institute.
1987-1989 — Chairman of the Kiev organization of the Union of artists of Ukraine, member of the Board and the Secretariat of the Union of artists of Ukraine, the Board and the Secretariat of the USSR Union.
1989 — Kiev state art Institute (nowadays national Academy of fine arts and architecture).
1996 — academician-founder of the Academy of arts of Ukraine.
1997 — elected President of the Academy of arts of Ukraine
2001-2005 — member of the Committee for awarding the National prize of Ukraine Taras Shevchenko.
