Born in the city of Kineshma in Ivanovo region. A member of the artists Union of the RSFSR since 1971. In 1956-1961, he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - B. M. Nemtinov. In 1961-1989, he worked at the Palekh art-production workshops. In the years 1978-1990 taught at the Palekh art school. Died 16 Feb 1993, buried in Palekh.
