Grigorievich Malyshev

The first art education Vasily Malyshev he studied at the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture, having in the course of training small and large silver medals. However, to obtain the official status of the painter in the nineteenth century had to pass a "scientific course" and acquire some practice in the Academy of arts in St. Petersburg, where after graduating from College and went Vasily Malyshev. From 1872 to 1875 he was a student of the Academy, having to get back in 1874, a large silver medal. In 1875, V. G. Malyshev was awarded the title of class artist third degree. Extant several works of the painter describe him as a master of the unpretentious scenes of popular life, endowed with a Supervisory eye, and the ability to build a picture composition and having the skills of a good draftsman and colourist. Apparently, the artist was not able to fully develop his undoubted ability, and his name eventually disappeared from the memory of colleagues, specialists and art lovers.
