Elpideforovich Derbentsev

Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Родился13.08.1927 in the city of Nizhniy Chir, Volgograd region, Russia.

He graduated from the Kiev art Institute, 1962. In Moldova с1963г.

Taught at the national hood. school. I. E. Repin in Kishinev Polytechnic Institute.

Worked in the field of monumental and easel, decorative sculptures and small plastics. (granite, bronze, wood, fireclay), as well as graphics.

Themes: historical, revolutionary, and modernity.

Member of the CX.

Left to relocate to Kaliningrad, Russia.

The artist's works were exhibited at the exhibition "Russian branch of pictorial tree of Moldova" organized by Association of Russian artists of Moldova "M-ART" dedicated to the Day of Russia at the exhibition hall CX - June 2005.

"Moderate styling, a clear rhythm of rounded forms, the rejection of unnecessary detail in most works of Robert Derbentseva created in a bold, innovative manner, in tune with modernity." Art Historian S. Bobinage.
