Nikitich Shchekotov

(1909, Moscow — 1975, Omsk).

In 1928-1935 he worked as a chief artist in the theatres of Omsk, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Moscow. In 1940 he received a personal invitation to the workshops of the Palace of Soviets in Moscow at the position of the artist in the workshop of I. M. Rabinovich. Since 1949, the Chairman of Omsk branch of Union of artists of the RSFSR. Solo exhibitions were held in Omsk in 1942,1949 in Omsk. In 1959-1961 years jubilee exhibition of the 50th anniversary of the birth and the 25th anniversary of creative activity was exhibited in the Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk.
