Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
His first professional education was acquired in the National University of R. Suta, E., and G. Bena Skelter. In 1938 he studied in the Studio of J. Tillberga, 1940 – 44 years – at the Latvian Academy of arts. The more significant teachers, he believed Obana K., K. Miesnieks and V. Purvitis. From L. Liberts, head of the workshop of Figurative painting, he began a thesis of "Fair" that because of the war was unfinished.
A. Bromund served in the Latvian army (1935 – 36), worked as a Retoucher of photographs (1936 – 40), participated in the battle of legionaries in Kurzeme (1944 – 45), worked in rural hozaistva in the filtration camp (1945 – 48) and artist ispolnitelem in the Studio portraits combine "Māksla" (1948 – 52).
In exhibitions the artist has participated since 1943. More significant exhibitions organized in Tukums (1959), Riga (1959, 1976, 1987, 1988), Cesis, Madona (1960), Dobele (1963), Rezekne (1964), Nishiki (Lithuania, 1976), Sukhumi (Abkhazia, 1977), the Swarm (1978), Riga (1981), Liesure (1983), Saldus (1988). Commemorative exhibition – in Riga (1991).
Since 1957, A. Bromund was a member of the Union of artists.
In 1972, the artist received the gratitude of the Union of artists for achievements in the arts.
