Born in 1917 in Novocherkassk. He entered the Studio of the all, worked under the guidance of K. Yuon and S. M. Rodionov. 1937 was a student of Moscow art Institute, workshop of G. M. Segala, V. V. Pochitalova and DK Mochalskogo. In 1944 he defended his diploma under the direction of S. V. Gerasimov, and N. X. Maximov. Participant of exhibitions. Member of the Ministry of agriculture since 1946

In 1936 - 1937 he studied in Moscow in the Studio of the all under the guidance of K. Yuon and M. Rodionov. From 1937 to 1945 at the Moscow art Institute. In I. Surikov in the Studio of G. Segala. Teachers – V. Pochitalov (painting), D. Mochalsky (figure).
In evacuation in Samarkand, in 1944 under the leadership of S. Gerasimov and N. Maksimova successfully defended a thesis "German caught". Since 1946, Maria Savchenkova – member of the Artists Union of the USSR.
In 1990, in Moscow held a personal exhibition of the artist. Works are in Art museums of Novocherkassk, Rostov-on-don, Krasnodar, State the Gallery. Vasily Nechitailo in the city of Sal'sk.
He died March 23, 2017, at 100-m to year of life.
