Born 4 (16) Aug 1897 in Palekh. Studied at icon-painting workshop. Member of artel of ancient painting since January 1, 1933. Died March 27, 1947, buried in Palekh. He worked in the portrait genre. Themes of works: genre scenes, portraits. Participated in exhibitions since 1933. A. M. Nefedov is stored in the State Museum of Palekh art.
