(1928-198?), artist, painter and graphic artist. He graduated from the Ivanovo art College, Novgorod pedagogical Institute. More than 30 years he taught in the city schools. Favorite genre of the artist – portrait. Most often it is the traditional half-length portrait of our Barbican. Shkil Yu – fine artist first and foremost. It is characterized by brevity characteristics of the image of the model, restrained color palette.

He has participated in numerous local and regional art exhibitions of the 1960s –1980s, unfortunately, a big part of his legacy lost. In the Borovichi Museum of local lore there are several works by the artist.
