Lavrentievich Remezov

Born in the city of Kineshma of the Kostroma region. He studied at the Moscow art - industrial school im. M. I. Kalinin Moscow Institute of industrial and decorative art (1937-1941). A member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1964. Worked in the field of easel, monumental, decorative sculpture, as well as in the forms of small plastic. From 1944 to 1945, the artistic Director of the Tobolsk cooperative "Koopakoot". He was elected Chairman of Tyumen organization of Union of artists. Participant of city, regional, zonal and international exhibitions. Works are TMII, TOKM, THIS, private Russian collections. Died in Tyumen.
