Biography and information

Paul Jacula (Paul Jacoulet) was born in France, but with 4 years he lived in Japan: the father of the future artist worked as a teacher in the University of Tokyo, and then Paul himself began working as a translator at the French Embassy. At the end of life Jacula began to powder her face and did not leave with a kimono - like with the technique of engraving: he created that he published until his death.
