Andreevich Shumilkin

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

(1930-1998) was born in the village of Znamenka Molchanovskoye district, Tomsk region, artist, author of landscapes, still lifes, portraits. He studied at the Sverdlovsk art College. Member of the Russian Union of artists since 1970, "Anatoly Andreevich Shumilkin - an outstanding artist of our time. It was in many respects a remarkable man who brought to perfection in almost everything he undertook. He had no right hand. But with one hand he did that with two behind him couldn't keep up. Everything Anatoly Andreevich touched, he was filled with beauty. He painted landscapes, still lifes, carved wood sculptures, wrote poetry and life turned into a continuous creativity" (Gorchakov).
