Russia • 1870−1930

In 1890 – 1894 he studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of arts, from which he graduated with the degree of the artist of the third category for the thesis "Ghosts".

After graduation, he worked as a drawing teacher in different educational institutions of St. Petersburg, and in 1905 – 1917 years, also teacher of drawing and painting at the Central school of technical drawing Stieglitz.

In 1919 E. Baltins moved to Berlin, where he worked in the publishing house devrien. There is information that he later moved to live in America.

The artist has participated mainly in exhibitions of Russian unions of artists (the society of Independent artists, the society of St. Petersburg artists, the society of Russian watercolorists, etc.), also exhibitions of works by Latvian artists in Riga (1910, 10 works), St. Petersburg (1915, 5 papers) and Moscow (1916, 27). Died after 1930.
