A landscape painter. A descendant of Prince Ivan Mikhailovich. A cavalry officer, eventually – the head of the railway service. Began artistic activities as an Illustrator and draftsman. Has participated in art exhibitions. In the 1890s he collaborated with Yu Clover. Works are in many private collections in Russia and Ukraine.
