Mamai Mountain is like Monomakh's hat
Or like a miracle loaf of bread.
And Baikal seems to have been hit with a bang
The Tatar sword cut off the edge.
But still the Russian look is majestic
So proud of himself the wounded hero.
And the Vydrinians call that mountain
And simpler and gentler - Mamai the mountain.
Baikal is below. Khamar Daban is higher.
Here the strings of the bowstrings sang.
