B. 28 Nov 1914 in Mariupol mind. 25 Mar 1968 in Kharkov. Graduated from the Kharkov art College (1931-38) and Kharkiv art Institute (1938-41; 1944-45), where he studied with M. Samokish, M. Kozik. A member HO UAU from 1947. Participant of all-Union and Republican exhibitions.
