Painter and graphic artist. Studied in Moscow in the studios of M. I. Shesterkin and A. P. Bolshakov (1904-1905), in Paris, in Studio "La Palette", under the leadership of S. Guerin and others (1907 - 1909), ibid used the tips E. S. Kruglikova. Participated in exhibitions "Union of youth" (1911), "World of art" (1912-1916, 1924), paintings of Petrograd artists of all directions (1923). In 1918, the anniversary of the revolution was performed by a panel of "Pegasus" for the Pushkin square in Petrograd, 1919-1921 worked for the Porcelain factory. Taught at the Petrograd Academy of fine arts, graphic arts Institute, the last few years in the school of industrial art (6. Stieglitz). As the schedule worked in the magazines "Apollo", "Lukomorye", "Satyricon", 20 the value. in publishing "Old", "Akvilon", "Academia", etc. a Large number of his covers are signed with the initials "V.
