He studied at the art school at the Russian Academy of arts in Leningrad (1936 — 1940). Later worked in the Studio of M. V. Nesterov. From 1944 he worked in the Studio of military artists to them. M. B. Grekov, dedicated their art to the depiction of the life of the Soviet Army. On the basis created during the great Patriotic war sketches performed a series of lithographs "Leningrad in days of blockade", "Moscow invincible," "Storm of Berlin".

Education: Leningrad art school (1936-1940) A. D. Zaitsev, p. P. Kazakova, A. N. Liberova. Secondary art school at the Academy of fine arts (1936-1940).

Schedule, book Illustrator. Member of the Union of artists. Participant of exhibitions since 1939. His works are in the Central Museum of the great Patriotic war 1941-1945 the Central Museum of the Armed Forces, the State Tretyakov gallery, the State Russian Museum in Leningrad, Astrakhan regional picture gallery, the Ryazan regional art Museum.
