Studied at KhSAI have Burachek M., M. Fedorov, S. Prokhorov (1923 - 1929). Participant in exhibitions since 1930. Was a teacher at KhSAI (1944 - 1986), since 1957 - associate Professor. A member of the CFS. The works are stored in Kharkiv art Museum, Lugansk regional art Museum and others.

Graduated from the art workshops of decorative painting (Kharkov, Ukraine; 1913-17), Kharkiv art Institute (1923-29), where he studied with M. Burachek, M. Fedorov, S. Prokhorov, A. Coquelles. A member HO UAU from 1938. The participant of Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions since 1927. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1971,1978,1984, 1998; S. Blyzniuky (Kharkiv region) in 1976; the city of Kupyansk (Kharkiv region) - 1971. Was a teacher at KhSAI-hhpi (1944-86), associate Professor (1951).
