Honored artist of Russia (1999). Winner of the prize. Lenin Komsomol (1984). Born in D. Corelca Bor district. Semenov graduated from vocational school (1974-1977). Master artist of Khokhloma painting. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1996. Since 1978 - participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1979, 1985, 1998, 2003), Republican (Moscow, 1987, 1989, 1994, 1996; Dushanbe, 1983; Cheboksary 1987), international (Poznan, 1986; Vilnius 1988) art exhibitions. He taught at the art Lyceum №30 G. Semenova (2000-2001).
