The picture is called "Pokrov" , and she, of course, dedicated to the first snow, this incredible feeling, when the world has turned into a dreamlike, ethereal. To me, it seems that only in Russia can survive. And yet the idea of this canvas went the theme of the Pokrovsky folk traditions-rituals. The time Cover is very worried about all brides,because it began with the autumn weddings. And snow white, fresh, fluffy reminded the girls a wedding veil or a headscarf, a symbol of the betrothed bride. I think I managed to convey that feeling of something new, exciting, unknown, but it is such a familiar and oppressive to every Russian heart!
