Viktor Ivanovich Ivanov was born in 1949 in the Stavropol Territory.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1982. Muralist, painter, graphic artist.
In 1969, he graduated from the Tashkent Art College.
In 1977 - the department of monumental painting of the Moscow Higher Industrial and Art School MVHPU (former Stroganovskoye), where he studied in the studio of the People's Artist of the USSR Geli Mikhailovich Korzhev.
The life and creative fate of the artist is associated with Kazakhstan (Chimkent, Alma-Ata), Uzbekistan, Moscow, Stavropol, and the Caucasus. He is a participant in many republican, regional, regional exhibitions through the Union of Artists of the USSR and Russia. On his account several group and six personal exhibitions. His works are in museums and private collections in Russia, USA, Germany, France, Greece, Bulgaria, Israel, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan.
Currently, the artist lives and works in the city of Stavropol. His work is well known in the Stavropol Territory and the North Caucasus.
