Daniilovich Dovboshinsky

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Associate Professor.

(27.07.1924 G. R., C. Kolka, Volyn region.). In 1947-53 he studied at the Lviv Institute of applied and decorative arts. Teacher: R. SEL, Th.Bokshay. In 1953-84 he taught at LIMDI. The Participant Of The Great Patriotic War. Works in easel painting and monumental-decorative art. Major works: “Portrait of Hero of Socialist.Labor V. Baida” (1958), “Workers-chemists” (1965), mosaic “glory to the Soviet soldiers” for the Lviv Museum of Transcarpathian MD (1965), “Bride” (1967), “Portrait of Tudor” (1967). Associate Professor (1963). A member of the CFS. Honored artist of Ukraine. Participates in exhibitions: Republican since 1958, foreign since 1967
