The son of A. P. and V. S. Isayeva, brother of P. A. Isaev. He studied at AHPU (1974-78) A. P. Isaev.

Works in the genres of landscape and still life in oil painting. Performed works: "Msta" (1984), "Sheds", "Grey day. Academic dacha" (both 1988), "Sunflowers" (1990), "Flood" (2001), "the siren" (2000), "Phlox" (1998), "October has arrived", "Over the pond" (both 2002), "APR", "End of February" (both 2004).
Participant of exhibitions (since 1990), including: a Third zonal art exhibition "Moscow" (Moscow, 1990), "Autumn salon" (Sergiev Posad, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004).
Exhibition of works of the family I. was held in 1999, 2000 (Sergiev Posad).
I. stored in State historical-art and literary Museum-reserve "Abramtsevo", in private collections of Russia, USA, France, Italy, England.
