In 1941, a volunteer went to the front. Fought on the Western front on the posts of political instructor, platoon commander. For participation in the liberation battles of Vyazma, Kharkov, Poltava, Flowers, Przemysl he was awarded "excellent artillery", medal "For victory over Germany in the great Patriotic war."
In 1947 he graduated from the Moscow art school of memory of 1905. His landscapes are distinguished by lyricism, simplicity and modesty reasons. The artist impressed numerous trips to Yakutia created the works "the Lena River" (1957), "In the mountains of Oymyakon" (1957), "In the native alas" (1963), "Sugar river" (1964), "the Lake of the Laptev sea" (1971).
