Deserved artist of Ukraine since 1977. Graphic artist and painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. In 1935 - 1939 he studied at the Dnepropetrovsk art College, 1944-1950гг. - KHI teachers M. Sharonov and K. Trohimenko. Worked in the genres of battle, landscape and genre painting. V. masik known as a book Illustrator.

Born in the city of Ekaterinoslav (now Dnepropetrovsk). Initial art education has received in the art Studio of Konotop. In 1939 he graduated from Dnipropetrovsk art College, where he studied with M. Panin, P. Alekhin and V. Korenev. In 1943 he held his first solo exhibition, which was presented to front-line sketches. In 1950 he graduated from the KHI, where he studied with M. Sharonov and K. trohimenko. Worked as the Director of the school of decorative art in Kiev. Traveled to the Baltic States, the Caucasus, the Crimea, the Carpathians, creating a large number of wonderful landscapes. Studied illustration, worked on the creation of bookplates and Alannah a variety of techniques. In 1977 he received the title of honored artist of Ukraine. Was a member of the 400 Republican and all-Union exhibitions and almost 100 foreign. Spent about 70 personal exhibitions. Presented in the state Tretyakov gallery and many HM of Ukraine.
