Ivanovich Semenyuk

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. People's Artist of the RSFSR.

In 1941 he graduated from the Yaroslavl Art School, where the teachers of the young artist began Y. M. Druzhinina and C. P. Oparin. Immediately after graduating from College in the life of Yuri Semenyuk of war intervened. In his hometown he returned the commander of the division anti-tank artillery, awarded the order of the Patriotic War and Order of the red Star. In 1954, admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. Served as Chairman of the Yaroslavl Union of Artists of the USSR.

In 1985 solo exhibitions of the artist were held in Moscow and Leningrad. The works of Yuriy Semenyuk in large quantities are kept in the Yaroslavl Art Museum and other museums of the former USSR.
