She was born 16 Aug 1946 in Moscow in a creative family. Her father, Vladimir Ivanovich, Tarasenko, was an artist, and mother, Lyudmila Mikhailovna Nikolaenko wrote poems for children. These bright, clear and deep poetry at the time highly appreciated and recommended for publication by K. I. Chukovsky.
The family lived in difficult conditions. Vladimir Ivanovich taught in school drawing. Lyudmila Mikhailovna, the publishing house "the Kid" is very rare, but still came out fine poetry books. Marina does not fit well into school life. It was several times expelled from school for academic failure. These range from public defamation and
shouting "Shame Tarasenko d student," she remembered. Maybe then she learned to stand alone. Mom is so upset and "raging" that it was better not to dedicate. Dad was softer, but all told mom. So there are fake journals with continuous threes instead of twos solid.
The best time was, of course, summer. In the village you can climb with the boys in the trees, to walk in the woods, bonfires, swimming. Winter was Moscow court with his "friendship" with betrayal, burning secrets. Friends she had, mostly, boys or girls younger or very little - those who do not appreciate. And animals: dogs, cats, a tame Sparrow, who was picked up and raised. In the winter she went to the zoo to feed the animals, clean up their cages. Her father took her once in the arena, and horses were the most important for many years. She later said the only thing else would probably do in your life besides painting, was the work with animals – to feed, to nurse. It was a special gift of empathy, intuitive knowledge, ingenuity, tenderness and determination.
To draw the Marina started late, when she was 16 years old. It was a house red with a green roof, a watercolor. These usually draw children eight years of age. My mother liked. She was ...to prohibit and discourage to draw, knowing that forbidden fruit is sweet. Marina drew. She was taken to a drawing Studio at the Palace of pioneers. And in the summer of this first
"drawing", the young teacher And I. Omelchenko has taken his Studio in the Crimean sketches. This trip and this man turned Marina's life in a different direction.
В1965 year Marina came to start the cameras. this school in memory of 1905. This period of study, she later recalled mainly as anti-social. realism.
In 1969 after graduating from College she joined the youth Association MOSKH
Among his teachers Marina called I. I. Omelchenko, L. M. Lower, G. Gray, A. M Dubinchik, who was the head of its thesis and contrary to the will and opinion which she wrote her thesis is not in the manner of SOC. realism. G. E. Nikolsky - known animal painter, was a real Maestro for the young artist ("Portrait
craftsman"( G. E Nicholas) 1971. Several years as a "journeyman" helping the artist in his Studio, she learned the skills to work 10 - 12 hours a day and amazing dedication to their vocation, which remained true in all circumstances of life.
However, perhaps the most important her teacher in art and in life for many years remained mum. Love of life as a divine gift, an attentive and compassionate attitude to people, austerity in life, independent of social order, love for the poetic word, to art as the discovery of the meaning of life – all this Marina studied with mother. ("Motherhood" 1981). It is no coincidence that the last unfinished work of Marina is the portrait of his dying mother ("Portrait Pretty" 2007)
The father also played a big role in shaping her personality and talent. She owes the father of high artistic culture and taste, high demands on himself, and modesty, subtlety of perception.
In November 1974 she became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In the period from 1972 to 1985, Marina actively participated in the Union of youth exhibitions., .in joint exhibitions with Hungarian artists. During these years she began to exhibit abroad : took part in the XL biennial in Venice, the exhibition "Traditions and search" in Paris, the exhibition "Traditions and modernity" in düsseldorf.
It was a time of creative travel -- She visited Callscompleted, the far East, in the Carpathian mountains, in Central Asia, at BAM, the Baikal, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude. Marina brought a bright, independent work ("Gegemon" 1976,
"Seagulls"1983).
First period – lyrical, poetic ("the Artist and the model" 1971, "Grandson"1972, "Winter afternoon" 1976, "March"1976, "Grandmother came" 1977) gave way to a period of the paintings - parables ("Motherhood" 1981, "Father"1981)
The restructuring that has hit the state funding of all blastacular, was a heavy period. in Marina's life It was a time of great loneliness, of painful search of the inner path and the truth ("self-Portrait with eyes closed" end of the 80s, "Target"1988. Large social changes of the 90s was reflected in her works., where the hero gets the crowd ("Station"1992, "Session"). Gradually the crowd took on a face.. Everyone in the crowd has become an important and unique ("Everyone"1990)
In the 90 years she has organized in his Studio the art Studio for children. This work with children not only "fed", she gave joy, he gave her new strength "christocentrically" understanding of life, This last period has given excellent illustrations of the three books, a large number of graphic works -landscapes of the Tver land where the Marina
mother spent annually 4-5 months of summer, illustrations for the Psalms, "Encyclopedia of pain" at about 600 drawings, conceived as
illustrations of homeopathic encyclopedia A. And Nikanorov and which has, doubtless, its own artistic value. During this period some of the most distinctive, vivid, not unlike what "men" ("Soul"1993, "the Annunciation" 1999 , "a Tramp (I am forgotten like a dead man") 1998. "Two" 1998 "Man" 2003. Illustrating the separate lines of the Psalms, Marina discovered the depth, where in the words of the Apostle Paul, there is "neither Greek nor Jew, neither male nor female", where the age - Convention, where Man and God look at each other with love, joy and anticipation of meeting.
