Born in 1918 in the town of Volokolamsk, Moscow region. In 1939 he graduated from the Ryazan art school. The member of artists Union since 1944 Honored artist of the RSFSR. Died in 1997 in the city of Ivanovo.

Honored artist of Russia (1969) At the end of the great Patriotic war actively engaged in creative work. Regularly participates in regional, zone, Republican and all-Union exhibitions. He is a member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1944. His works are in art museums across the country (Ivanovo, Plyos, Rostov-on-don, Krasnoyarsk, Volgograd), as well as in private collections in many cities of Russia, including Moscow and St. Petersburg. Most of the works were reproduced in the national press, magazines, albums on art. In recent years, many works went to private collections abroad: in the USA, Canada, Germany, France, England, Italy, Japan, China.
