Nar. hood. Cargo.SSR (1958), full member AH the USSR (1970). Member of the CPSU(b) since 1945. Graduated from the Tbilisi Academy of arts (1931). Monumental sculpture (the figure of "Victory" and the statue of A. Tsereteli on the front of t-RA in the City, 1945-50; the monuments to Lenin in Tbilisi, Kaliningrad, Rustavi, 1956-61), sculptural portraits ("V. I. Lenin", 1961; "the Actor E. Bush", 1966), etc. The Winner Of The St. St. (1950).

People's artist of Georgia (1958), full member AH the USSR(1970).

He was born 31 Dec 1907 (January 13, 1908, n. s.) in Tiflis. In 1924-31 he studied at the Tiflis AH.. Kandelaki, E. Lansere, I. Nikoladze, I. Charlemagne. In the work Topuridze is dominated by a monumental, epic in the figurative sound works (for example, the figure of "Victory" and the statue of A. Tsereteli (State prize of the USSR, 1950), installed on the pediment of the theater in Chiatura (1945-50.). Repeatedly acted as a portraitist ("V. I. Lenin", 1961, "the Actor E. Bush", 1966, both bronze, Art gallery of Georgia, Tbilisi). Was awarded the order "badge of Honor" and a medal.

Died in 1980 in Tbilisi.
