Born in Palekh. Hereditary painter, son of N. F.Vikhreva. In the years 1962-1967 he studied at the Palekh art school. Since 1967 worked at the Palekh art-production workshops. Since 1969 he taught at the Palekh art school. Died in 1994, buried in Palekh.
The theme of the work: history, literature, modern. The Work Of E. N. Vikhreva are stored in museums: the State Museum of Palekh art, the Ivanovo regional art Museum.
