He was born in Odessa. Was in high school (1955-1963); art school (1958-1963); the Odessa state art College named. Grekova (1963-1968) under the leadership of Ludmila Egorova, Nikolay Pavlyuk, Orestes Lisinskoga; at the Leningrad higher art-industrial school im. V. I. Mukhina, (1968-1971) under the guidance of Rachel Chernyak, Yefim Naaman, Professor Joseph Wax. Not having graduated from the Mukhina Academy in 1972, went to Israel for permanent residence. From 1975 he participated in exhibitions in Israel, in Europe, in the United States.
