Born in 1945 in the village of Ivanovka in Amur region. Received professional education in the far Eastern state Institute of arts in Vladivostok.Exhibitions: Moscow. Solo exhibition: Paris. Works by S. M. Sovetnikova are kept in museums of Simferopol, Feodosiya, and in private collections in Russia and abroad. In 1999, some canvas work with. Sovetnikova acquired the Museum in Jersey city (new York).
