B. 2 Feb 1918 in the village of Khlevnoe, now Voronezh region. - the mind. 31 Mar 1984 in Kharkiv. Studied at the Penza art school (1937-40), graduated from Kharkiv art Institute (1945-47; 1948-51), teachers D. Ovcharenko, D. Shavykin, B. Kosarev. Member of USSR Union of artists since 1960. The participant of Republican and all-Union exhibitions since 1951. Taught at hghu (1951).
