Born in 1970 in Moscow, he studied at mshsh, and then in MGHI them. V. I. Surikov. Being a professional portraitist, later, however, chose the credo of the animal. Images of animals have become the hallmark of his work since high school. Soon after graduation, most sold in Russia, feed for the animals have got extremely accurate realistic images of dogs and cats, masterfully executed by Kolobaeva. Later – a permanent member of the equestrian exhibition "EQUIROS" in Moscow, the exhibition "Horse crossing" and personal exhibition in Central house of artists, joint exhibitions with photographer A. Storch and sculptor Sergei Bondarenko. Numerous works Kolobaeva decorate private collections of serious fans of his work, some works are in the Museum of horse breeding, Russian state agrarian University-MTAA them. K. A. Timirjazeva and are represented in private collections in Europe and the United States.
