Sergey Tyunin — art Director, cartoonist, animator and designer of books. Participated in the organization of theatrical productions Studio of Tallinn old town as a set designer and artist.

Sergey Tyunin was born 18 January 1942. In 1969 he graduated from the Moscow textile Institute [Moscow textile Institute]majoring in "Art design and modeling of textile and light industry".. Since 1968 publishes his cartoons in the "Literary Gazette".From 1969 to 1972 upon graduation he worked as a graphic designer in all-Union scientific research Institute of technical aesthetics /VNIITE/. From 1976 to 1979 he worked as art editor of the magazine "Change". Since 1979 is engaged in animation working with the creative Association Screen. Also worked as the lead writer for the TV show [[the Exhibition Pinocchio]in 1979 and 1980.].Since 1980 he has worked in the children's humor magazine "Funny pictures", Deputy editor-in-chief. In the Estonian theatre "Studio of Tallinn old town" as a set designer he designed the staging of "Business" Sukhovo-Kobylin in 1981 and "the government Inspector" by Gogol in 1987. Since 1988 actively participated in the activities of the Studio Soyuzmultfilm, and in 1991 worked with the Studio-13. In the puppet theatre named after Sergei Obraztsov as an art Director, designed the play "foolish show" in 1997. For the publishing house "Moscow worker" was designed and illustrated "Dead souls" of Gogol in 1984, "Novels and stories" by Chekhov in 1985, "Works prutkov" in 1987, "classic Russian Comedy" in 1989, "the Master and Margarita" by Bulgakov in 1990. Winner of dozens of awards at national and international cartoon contests, including awarded such prizes as "Golden calf", the "Golden Aesop", "Golden date", "Andrew Gold", "Gold Ostap" and others. Member of the Union of artists and the Union of journalists of Moscow.

Besides Sergey Tyunin worked in the field of hand-drawn animation. Three years from 2005 to 2008 column published the political cartoon "Bye" in the magazine "Russian Newsweek". Since 1992 works as a freelance cartoonist in the newspaper "Kommersant".
