Wojciech Gerson (Polish. Wojciech Gerson; July 1, 1831(18310701), Warsaw — 25 February 1901) was a Polish realist painter and writer.

Wojciech Gerson studied painting in Warsaw and St. Petersburg art academies, then in Paris under Leon Konya. In 1858, the artist returned to Warsaw and engaged in teaching. Professor of art (1872-1896гг.). The main theme of his works were landscapes, urban sketches, historical painting. Among the disciples of the master were such painters as Jozef Chelmonski, Leon Wyczolkowski, Vladislav Podkowinski, Jozef Pankevich, Ludomir Benediktovich, Vaclav Chodkowski, Eligius Nevadomski, Alfred Kowalski-Verush, Jan Stanislavsky, Casimir Alhimovich, Anna Bilinska.

The greatest contribution to Polish art V. Gerson made as a graphic and the Creator of historical paintings. He owns lithographs of views of Warsaw, Polish folk costumes, illustrations for the publication "the Polish Hetman". Among his paintings on historical themes, it should be noted "Copernicus in Rome", "the Margrave Gero and Slavs".

V. Gerson is also author of several literary works — the biography of the artist Joseph Simler, anatomy book for artists, he translated into Polish the Treatise on painting by Leonardo da Vinci.

From 1898 to 1901 V. Gerson was the President of the Association of churches.
