Artist, independent curator, teacher. Focusing on the relationship between man and space, the artist explores the boundary between reality and imagination. Working with metal, plaster and found materials, Pavlovskaya creates sculptures that act as hooks and hooks for the imagination. The theoretical core of her artistic practice consists of psychoanalytic books as an echo of the artist's first education.
Alexandra received her BA in Contemporary Art from the University of Hertfordshire in 2019. The artist's work has participated in the parallel programs of the Moscow Biennale of Young Art (2020) and Contemporary Art (2019), in the exhibition section of the Krasnoyarsk Book Fair (2019, 2021), as well as in group exhibitions in Riga (2018), New York (2019), London (2017).
