Dresden Old Masters Art Gallery at the exhibition
"Jan Vermeer. Frozen." presented after restoration the masterpiece of the master "Girl Reading a Letter at the Open Window".
Visitors will be able to see not only Vermeer's famous painting, but also nine paintings by the artist that are connected by context.
The museum's halls will display paintings by the Delft-based artist, including "Reading a Letter in Blue," "Standing Girl" and "Woman with Scales," which in turn are accompanied by an exquisite selection of some 50 works of Dutch genre painting that demonstrate the relationships and creative interactions between Vermeer and his peers.
