Through Vincent's Eyes: Van Gogh and His Sources

The Santa Barbara Museum of Fine Arts follows the Columbus Museum of Art in hosting an exhibition "Through Vincent's Eyes: Van Gogh and His Sources.".

The exhibition will immerse viewers in the magical visual world of one of the most beloved artists in art history. Presenting more than 20 works by Van Gogh, as well as some 75 objects chosen to reflect the wonderfully diverse art he most admired, the project firmly connects Vincent to his life and worldview at the end of the 19th century.

The exhibition will feature paintings by more than 60 artists, including Jules Breton, Anton Mauve, Adolphe Monticelli, Léon-Augustin Lhermitte, Jean-François Raffaelli, and better known as the master of Romanticism, Eugène Delacroix, artists of the Barbizon school, the Impressionists and post-Impressionists, including Claude Monet and Paul Gauguin.
