The goal of the project is to explore different facets of both spheres and see them from a new and sometimes unexpected side. The curators of the exhibition are Yuri Omelchenko, the author of the project "ARTpatrol" and co-owner of Omelchenko Gallery, Yuri Postrigay, Olympic champion in canoeing, and Anastasia Postrigay, art historian and founder of the OP-POP-ART Academy. The exhibition includes more than 120 works by young artists from most regions of Russia and the CIS countries, united by sports themes. The works were selected by results of an open call, which took place from July to August this year with the participation of more than 1000 artists. The works address a variety of art forms from painting to NFT. The exhibition is unique and covers many different sports, emphasizing its relevance and significance. The idea for the project belongs to Yuri Omelchenko. Observing the union of Anastasia and Yuri Postrigay, two deeply passionate professionals - an art historian and an athlete - he noticed how organically art and sport complement each other in reality.
